Who is Dr. Andrew Toplack?
A physician for over 40 years and a psychotherapist for 25, Dr. Toplack is also a passionate spirits educator, importer, and community builder. He co-founded Les Folies d’Absinthe — the first Canadian Absinthe Festival, alternating yearly between Toronto and Montreal and proudly hosted by Alambika while in Montreal. He’s also the creator of the Toplack Sessions, a long-running, high-caliber seminar series that has deeply influenced Toronto’s bartending scene.
From pioneering the introduction of premium mezcals and rums into Ontario to co-founding the Bartenders Benevolent Fund, Dr. Toplack has left an indelible mark on Canada’s cocktail culture. Purchases under $175 are shipped across Canada at a low flat rate cost of only $16,95. Note that the conditions stated above apply to all locations that can be reached by normal land mail.
Before shipping, each glass and item is carefully and individually checked to be sure that everything is in perfect condition. Glasses are then protected with bubble wrap and other shock absorbing products.
Unless otherwise specified, all our shipping is done using the Accelerated parcel service from Canada Post.
Please be aware that some items cannot be shipped during winter months. That includes non-alcoholic beverages and spirits. Since those products don't contain alcohol, sugar or salt, the bottles freeze and have a high chance of exploding during transportation. We apologize for the inconvenience.
