Cours Cocktail : Base De Luxe on July 21, 15:00 EDT (Français)

$99.00
$99.00

Welcome to the Deluxe Cocktail Basics Course.

Presented by Alambika, with Masha Conesa as your instructor, this training will cover two basic cocktail structures: the "Sour" and the "Long Drink." These will then allow you to make hundreds of variations in no time.

The course will be primarily conducted in French. While the instructor is fluent in both English and French, please note that not all content will be translated, so attendees should be comfortable with English instruction.

Agenda:
1. Welcome, complimentary welcome cocktail;
2. Introduction to basic tools;
3. Training and tasting of basic ingredients; Syrups, Bitters, and Acidity;
4. Practical Session 1: The Short Sour. Your guide will explain how to make the cocktail, but YOU will be the hero of flavor combinations. Mango and Cinnamon? Saffron and Passion Fruit? Various combinations will be suggested, but YOU decide. We teach you a structure; the flavors are up to you! Afterwards, you can exchange and taste your friends' versions! The cocktails can be made with gin, rum, or whiskey, as well as their non-alcoholic versions. The cocktails are also vegan; an alternative to egg white is used for the foam.
5. Practical Session 2: The Long Drink. Collins, Tonic, Highball. These cocktails are elongated, usually milder, less sweet. We will explain the differences and help you make one. Again, you can follow a model but also adjust it to make it YOUR recipe.
6. Bartender Tips: Hints for learning how to properly order cocktails when you go out and make the most of your evenings in the city's bars.
7. Closing Session. Receive a surprise gift bag, a private shopping period in the boutique, with a 4th beverage in hand. This one is non-alcoholic, to ensure a safe journey home.

Please Note:
The entire cocktail journey can be done with or without alcohol.
Snacks will be provided because it's always better with alcohol consumption.

This course takes approximately 2.5h
