Absinthe Fountain - La Toplaque 4 Taps Copper

La Toplaque — Absinthe Fountain

An Homage to Dr. Andrew Toplack and the Revival of Absinthe Culture in Canada.

Introducing La Toplaque, a refined absinthe fountain collection crafted in silver and copper finishes, created by Alambika in tribute to one of Canada’s most beloved cocktail community figures — Dr. Andrew Toplack.

Designed to enhance the traditional absinthe ritual, this fountain lets you slowly drip ice-cold water over a sugar cube balanced on a slotted spoon, allowing the absinthe to "louche" and reveal its complex flavors and aromas. Elegant and functional, this fountain is the centerpiece of any absinthe service, whether at home or in a professional bar.

Who is Dr. Andrew Toplack?
A physician for over 40 years and a psychotherapist for 25, Dr. Toplack is also a passionate spirits educator, importer, and community builder. He co-founded Les Folies d’Absinthe — the first Canadian Absinthe Festival, alternating yearly between Toronto and Montreal and proudly hosted by Alambika while in Montreal. He’s also the creator of the Toplack Sessions, a long-running, high-caliber seminar series that has deeply influenced Toronto’s bartending scene.

From pioneering the introduction of premium mezcals and rums into Ontario to co-founding the Bartenders Benevolent Fund, Dr. Toplack has left an indelible mark on Canada’s cocktail culture. Known affectionately as a “professional customer,” his love of good drinks is only rivaled by his generosity and mentorship.

A Purchase That Gives Back
Part of the proceeds from every La Toplaque Absinthe Fountain sold will go toward supporting future editions of Les Folies d’Absinthe, ensuring this vibrant celebration of absinthe continues to grow and inspire.

Whether you're an enthusiast or industry veteran, this absinthe fountain is more than a tool — it's a tribute to tradition, community, and one remarkable man.
