Return, Exchange and Refund Policy

This policy applies to purchases made on alambika.ca. It is in addition to the rights and warranties you have under the Québec Consumer Protection Act and does not limit them in any way.
Cancelling an order
Most orders ship the same day or the next business day. To cancel an order, write to us as soon as possible. If it has not shipped yet, we cancel the whole order and refund you at no charge. If it has already shipped, you can return the items under the conditions below.
Returns and exchanges: 30 days
Not happy with an item? You can return or exchange it within 30 days of receiving it, under the following conditions:
- the item is unused, in perfect condition and in its original, unopened packaging, just like a new item you would want to receive yourself;
- no restocking fee is charged.
Exchanges can be made at our Montréal and Québec City stores, or by mail. For an exchange by mail, shipping of the new item is charged at our current rates.
For a refunded return, we refund the price of the returned items. Shipping charges on the original order, gift wrapping and gift cards are not refundable. Return shipping is at your expense: we recommend a shipping method with insurance and a tracking number, as we cannot refund a return lost or damaged in transit.
Wrong, damaged or defective item
If you receive an item that is not the one you ordered, or that is damaged or defective, write to us as soon as you receive it, with a photo if possible. We will promptly offer a replacement or a refund, and return shipping will be at our expense.
Refund timing
Once the item is received and inspected, we refund you within 15 days, to the same payment method used for the purchase.
Requesting a return
Before sending an item back, submit a return request through our Contact page or at info@alambika.ca, including your order number. We will send you the return instructions.
In-store purchases and professional accounts
In-store purchases follow the same conditions. Orders placed through an Alambika Pro account are governed by Alambika Pro's professional terms of sale.
