“The Pineapple King”, the Hawaiian Lono is the inspiration here with the elaborate, stacked headdress. The pineapple itself is the Hawaiian symbol for “Welcome”. We thought that having a welcoming element to our new line-up was appropriate and would add a nice touch to your next gathering with many Tikiphiles recognizing the important symbolism of the pineapple in Hawaiian cultural history.
