Here comes the youngest of the friendly Charlatan family: the Cocoa and Beets syrup. It tastes as surprising as it sounds! This well-balanced syrup is a long way from pickled beets. It'll give a unique and oh-so refreshing flavour to your cocktails. Created for Valentine's day, it pairs rather well with Red Vermouth for a pretty romantic drink. But it goes without saying that it's delicious all year long!
1/2 oz of Cocoa & Beets syrup
1 1/2 oz of Rye Whisky
1/2 oz of Red Vermouth
1/2 oz of Campari
1 dash of Orange Bitters
1 Cocktail Cherry
Stir all of the ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice. Strain in a cocktail glass garnished with a cherry. Double the recipe. Sip to your heart's content!
