The ''Couteau droit a Fromage'' or the straight cheese knife has a triangular blade and an ebony handle. It is a unique creation, made by French master blacksmith Jean-Luc Soubeyras.
The blade is made of carbon steel and mix two finishes : "brut de forge" and "mirror polish". It is quite a piece of work.

Jean-Luc Soubeyras is a talented blacksmith from France. Being a knife and damascus steel expert, he is the author of a book and a doucumentary on the ancient art of forging damascus blades. Mr. Soubeyras earned the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" distinction, which is given to few selected French craftsmen who are recognized by the state for their excellence.
