A Moscow Mule Mug is, as all good mixologists know, the glass of preference for this special cocktail. It's made of stainless steel with a copper outside finish. The Moscow Mule was the way vodka was introduced to Americans in the 1940s and by the 1950s it was all the rage.
Three men were responsible for its creation and the marketing of a special copper mug that is know related to this cocktail: The distributor John G. Martin, as well as the owner of Cock n' Bull Ginger Beer and Cock 'n' Bull Tavern in Hollywood (frequently visited by celebrities) Jack Morgan, and president of Smirnoff Vodka, Rudolph Kunett.
