The Blackstrap bitters is full-bodied, with molasses, clove, sassafras and sarsaparilla aroma and flavours. Two types of molasses are used, a Double A grade and a Blackstrap Molasses. These sit perfectly atop egg white cocktails and provide intense aroma and visual appeal.

Bittercube was founded by Nicholas Kosevich and Ira Koplowitz in Madison, in 2009. Nick and Ira began developing bitters before Bittercube was formed and brought their ideas, techniques and recipes together. For nearly a year, the duo formulated, tweaked and developed the lineup that is now a large variety of Bittercube Bitters and some bar accessory. Bittercube Bitters are developed in Milwaukee, WI and created in Madison, WI using spirits from Yahara Bay Distillers, where all aspects of production are completed.
