Verjuice is simply made from young grapes, without maturation or fermentation.
Three varietals of blue grapes are used to create Au Fil du Vents' verjuice, which contains no other ingredients nor any preservatives. Just grapes!
Keep refrigerated after opening and use within two months. Or, freeze little portions in your ice cube molds to extend shelf life.
Due to its sourness, verjuice can easily replace lime or lemon juice in your cocktail recipes. In fact, it has the same pH level as lemon. And why not simply make a grape-soda by mixing one part verjuice with five parts sparkling water. Try verjuice to marinate meat or use it in dressings.
As of now, Au Fil du Vent remains the only producer of local grape verjuice in Quebec!
Au Fil du Vent is a family run business, who's farms are located in the grater Montreal area and are dedicated to organic cultivation of elderberries, blueberries and grapes. At present, they are also testing hop cultivation.
