This cocktail, was created for Le Devoir's monthly cocktail colomn. It will undoubtedly remind you of childhood Sundays at grandma's! Its main ingredient is shrub, a sweet-acidic juice whose origins go back to the ancient Middle East and which was popularized in America by farmers. In the fall, the fruit was preserved in a marinade of sugar, vinegar and water. At Christmas, the fruit was eaten and the leftover liquid was called shrub. Have try!
