The very famous Manhattan cocktail is definitely an alcohol forward cocktail. It was invented in the 19th century at the Manhattan Club in New York city and became one of the most famous cocktails of the century. Today, the Manhattan is known as a classic cocktail and is still being sipped by many of us! If you feel crafty, you can try pairing it with different bitters.

INGREDIENTS

2oz of Whiskey (Rye or Bourbon)
1oz of Sweet Vermouth
2 dashes of Mrs. Better's Bitters Aromatic Bitters
Garnished with a Jack Rudy Bourbon Cocktail Cherry and an orange twist

STEPS

Add ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice;
Stir for at least 45 seconds, when you feel the ice is slightly melting;
With a strainer, pour the mix into your glass; previously chilled;
Skewer a cherry (or two!) onto a pick, lay on top of the glass, add an orange twist and voilà!
